At the start  of it all, only a chair disappeared. It didn't really matter, who knows? maybe I moved it without noticing, not that I remember. Perhaps someone took it? But that would have been strange. Which robber only takes a common chair? Besides, If it were to be a burglar, what a burglar! No broken windows, no open doors. It looked like that chair had never been there. Things don't go away like that, right? Well, that's what I thought. I didn't give more importance to the event.

Some days later, the clock melted. As if it were butter. What on Earth could have done that? Spirits? God? Some new termite? That was out of common sense. I started to get scared. I didn't want such small things to affect my life. I said to myself "Well, if things wanna go away, they shall, I don't give a damn after all"

A week went by and the black spot came. I don't know what else to name it. It was the weirdest and strangest thing I had ever seen. It was like a black stain on my balcony. It also seemed harmless, but I called one friend of mine, so he would look at it, just in case the spot were to be dangerous. He made some tests with lasers and whatnot, but he couldn't explain it. I said goodbye to him and he promised to think about it. He seemed worried. I couldn't do much more about it.

Two days later, a rather big roar coming from the street woke me. Perhaps some teenagers drinking I thought at first. I took a peek through the window, and there was a flipped car, and no one near to be seen! Could the wind have done that?

My friend the physician came back today. He's brought company. Some professor of his or something like that. I've left them in the balcony whilst I make myself a lime tea. I'm really worried now. I don't know what to think no more. Maybe my flat is haunted. It has to be that, or, and this would be really bad luck, the universe could end like right now.
